Jill Stanek - Did you know the World Health Organization ranks The Pill as a Group I carcinogen?
I've heard about this many times but thought this article did a good job explaining. People mistakenly think it's harmless and even "good for you" in many cases.

Where Have We Been and What Have We Been Doing??
Well, most of June consisted of kids changing rooms which all required painting and decorating so that's been quite a project. The poor boys still have purple walls with butterfly's on them and a cute pastel ceiling fan....but we're getting there. Spent our week in South Haven, MI which was as great as it was last year. Beautiful weather made playing at the beach, hiking, relaxing, and eating lots of ice cream VERY pleasant! As June came to a close and July began we said goodbye to our dear friends, the Campbell Family, who we know we will still be seeing, but still miss dearly! It's a far cry from living across the street! Many tears have been shed but we are looking forward to them visiting in September!

Adult Stem Cells Cure Man of Multiple Sclerosis in Canada!
Wow! How cool! But this isn't the only success story... In fact, adult stem cells are about the only ones where we've seen real success(not to disclude cord blood, which is good too!). Why then, do we continue to murder innocent humans for their stem cells, which hasn't seen much success? In any regard, success or no success it's never an option to kill innocent human beings. To hear more about this success story:

You've Gotta Love This!
If you haven't heard of Susan Boyle, I'm not sure where you've been, but this is a nice news article. There's more than meets the eye to this woman, even besides her stunning vocals. She is a shining example of the human race. A woman used to ridicule and abuse, but with a heart where selfless love abides. As opposed to the "self-love" being sold to us(and especially to our children) at every turn. I also thought James 3:13-18 talked well of this. I've never seen this passage before but read and thought about this article and then there it was! Ahhh, God's Providence! You've gotta love this!

From Lent to Easter Joy!
Well these pictures posted backwards for me! Oh wellI guess! After church, everyone in their Easter best
on this beautiful sunny day!
Beautiful flowers at church after mass makes theperfect backdrop!
buttercream frosted cupcakes and fluffy coconut
grass!
eat hot cross buns in remembrence of our Lord's
Passion and Death.
mix salt dough, braid each piece, and form into a
circle. Add toothpicks and you have a "crown of
thorns". Everytime a family member makes a
sacrifice for another or does a good deed, a thorn
can be removed from our Lord's crown.

Inspired By Martin Luther King Jr.
Okay, I know Martin Luther King Jr. day was last week but last week was nutty for me. After I listened to his niece on the radio yesterday, I was inspired to find out more. AND at just the right moment it gave me the courage to add another ad to the side of my blog. Quotes from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.:
"He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it."
"Life's most urgent question is: What are you doing for others?"
"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter."
"We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope."
"When you are right you cannot be too radical; when you are wrong, you cannot be too conservative."
"Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be. This is the interrelated structure of reality."
"The time is always right to do what is right."
"The hottest place in Hell is reserved for those who remain neutral in times of great moral conflict."

An Inauguration Prayer
Join me in this prayer:
(from Bishop Edward K. Braxton, Bishop of the Diocese of Belleville)
O Lord our God, St. Thomas More, patron of statesmen, lived a life of prayer and penance, zeal for justice and integrity in his political service as Lord Chancellor of England. He was guided by the light of the Gospel in his family life. This led him on the path of martyrdom and sainthood. Guide President Barack H. Obama and Vice-President Joseph R. Biden so that they may be courageous and effective in leading and guiding the United States. Inspire them to promote the dignity of every human person from conception to natural death. Hear our prayer in the name of Jesus, who is Christ the Lord. Amen.
