Merry Christmas Cookie Baking!

Merry Christmas! Well, Christmas day has come and gone but we continue to celebrate Christmas many days after the actual day, as it was intended. I wanted to post some pictures of the kids baking cookies a while ago and never got around to it. Jazzercising and bon bon eating keeps me quite busy. So here you go! Make sure you look carefully at the pan of frosted and decorated cookies for a couple of knives for Grandpa Johnson and a race car all made by Evan. And of course a couple of frosted Faith cookies...

Christmas Craziness

Did you hear the story??? I know it's not as profound as the story on Hillary Clinton's new position but noteworthy still (that was sarcasm people!) I'm referring to the story about the poor man who was trampled to death at a Walmart during the crazy early, early morning special shopping. For me this was just another piece of evidence of how much we DON'T value other human lives. I am appalled at the fact that even after people saw the poor Human Being being trampled on the ground they continued their fight toward that perfect Christmas gift. What is wrong with us!?!? And to top it all off, after the man had died, the people refused to leave the store. For goodness sakes they'd been there for 4 hours waiting and they were going to do what they came there for regardless whether someone had been killed by the mania or not. I have no words for this. Is this what Christmas is about? The fact that the people who killed this man were shopping for CHRISTMAS gifts just makes me crazy. No, Christmas is about the birth of a baby who happens to be our Creator and who grows up to be a man who sacrifices his very body for us. For US..... his creations who trample and kill each other over gifts meant to celebrate His birthday. Make sense people? I think not.

"Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God. Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love. In this way the love of God was revealed to us: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might have life through him. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also must love one another" 1 John: 4

"The author of life you put to death, but God raised him from the dead; of this we are witnesses. Now I know, brothers, that you acted out of ignorance, just as your leaders did; but God has thus brought to fulfillment what he had announced beforehand through the mouth of all the prophets that his Messiah would suffer. Repent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be wiped away..." Acts:3

"As I have loved you, so you also should love one another" John: 13:34

The New Day to Day

So soccer has finally ended, at least for a little while, and wrestling officially got under way last night with the first practice. Evan is officially wrestling this year so that should be interesting. I'd hate to be the kid who gets to wrestle him! He's an animal! Don't let his small stature fool you! I will be trying to get to some tournaments and post some pictures. I don't go to them all because of the logistics of being there with Faith...need I say more!

Had to share these pics with you as I thought they were just too cute not to. It also shows what Faith is up to now...pretend play! She loves pretending she's going places and cooking play food and feeding her baby. Don't you just love the gloves?!? Enjoy!

Nothing like a cute chubby face to cheer you up!

It actually happened...

I'm off on a serious note pretty early on in this blog but it was just bad timing I guess. It actually happened... As we move forward from this election we look to this new "President" and wait for him to solve all our problems. It's the money right? It's always about our money. Not saying that he's going to do any good with the "money" situation because it's truly not a good plan. If we decide to be very honest we will see that the problem begins with the disintegrating moral values in our country. It's about valuing the family unit and human life. When those are supported the rest of it just works. No economic plan will solve anything, even if it's sound,(which it's not) if you don't get to the real problem. It's like those pesky dandelions, if you don't get those roots the problem goes on and on and even spreads. Moral values are the root and the foundation of EVERYTHING................yes even money. (is that all we care about anyway?) So when I originally sent out this video clip we had the hope that maybe it won't get worse but it looks like it can. With FOCA,(freedom of choice act) which will be the first thing our new guy will sign into existence, there will be no restrictions whatsoever. And if that isn't enough, we get to pay for it too. Yes, our tax dollars will pay for these heinous procedures. Let's hope that if you helped vote Barack Hussein Obama into office you can swallow this truth when it's your sister, child, grandchild, great grandchild, niece, nephew and on and on.... Most of America wanted "change" right? Well, they got it....and the major consequences that will come with it. Make sure to have your tissues on hand for the link to the video below. Even though, yes it's actually happened, we can't give up. And we won't. Click link below.
